n the future, yeah I don't know what to say... I just wanted to use the daily drop cap from http://dailydropcap.com . I freaking hate advertising after today and I definitely don't want to be an art director. Graphic design it is for me! So now I have to work really really really hard in packaging to prove that's the direction I need to take. I hope I can do it! I'm taking on "bipolarity" for my "fluctuating" package... I still need to design the pattern which is what I'm doing now... I just had to check the daily drop cap :) It's time to work now!

I don't know how I feel about that white border around it. And it definitely looks better on a white background. Oh well. I'll keep that in mind.

The label I chose for these assignments was off of Pölka Dot Riesling...

and i combined it with this label...

here is what I came up with...

So this is what I spent the last half of my summer on... It looks kind of wonky in the photograph. I had to take the photo pretty quickly (I was late getting on the road back to Denton) and I couldn't really tell if it was fuzzy or not... and there's a glare from the ceiling fan. And all those lines that look curved... they're really not. Oh well. Just imagine it... better. And that's how it is in real life. I promise.
